With non-interactive I wouldn't want to see anything past my glasses. This could easily be accomplished with a lens cover or something similar, but it would be even cooler if you could press a button on the glasses (or give some kind of command) and the screen would darken.

This technology will be so cool!!!Jonathanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18026476004883859119noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1064031792202228582.post-68639350339704646342007-08-09T20:40:00.000-07:002007-08-09T20:40:00.000-07:00hi Ben, I have been a small shareholder of MVIS. i...hi Ben,

I have been a small shareholder of MVIS. i just finished filling out the survey and i have a few question...

Q1: I would like to know what is the power consumption in the IPM
engine?

Q2: for mobile device eyewear, where is the image painted on? on
eyewear? or on retina?

Q3, if you paint on eyewear, how is a focused image generated for the user

thanks Ben, keep up with the great work. Like most of us, I was very excited about this technology from the start, and I still can't await it coming to the market.

It just seems to me that everything is mainly focused on mobile devices now. Nothing against that, everything about it sounds really cool (augmented reality and all that things).

I just think there is a market in combination with desktop computers and gaming consoles, too. Not only a market, in my opinion there is a NEED for it, as this technology may get us much more "into the thing" than traditional two-dimensional displays.

It could really get the whole gaming-thing into the next dimension, and being one of the largest markets today, that shouldn't be underestimated.

Besides that, go on with that great work! As I told before, I can't await all of this. :)CSingernoreply@blogger.com
