Not having a life, I took a couple of hours to convert a user's manual PDF file to jpegs of each page. I loaded it onto my iPod photo, and had a nifty little device that would display the manual on a regular TV with a little $19.95 adapter cable. I don't have a Nomad, but I could see how this little marriage of devices could be just the ticket for mechanics, and shave thousands off the price of a Nomad for garages. It also plays music while it displays.

How long do you think your head can carry a 17" TV/Monitor around?

JPEG can't never replace PDF unless it can search text, show animation, and able to print out nicely.
