It's your turn to drive. What kinds of topics would you like to see covered on MVIS Blog? I've written about a whole lot of things, including augmented reality, grid computing, RFID, you name it. But I am sure there are some topics that I've missed or maybe just haven't delved into deeply enough. One of those is virtual reality, and I intend to talk about some of the scenarios that we might be likely to see. But I haven't quite figured out how yet, without stepping all over Ray Kurzweil's incredible 'The Age of Spiritual Machines'.

Feel free to post a comment or send me an email and let me know what you'd like to see. No guarantees, but it should be interesting to hear from y'all and see what directions you think MVIS Blog should head in the future.

  1. Interesting news that MSFT is pushing automotive software which, among other things, will give the capability for 3D graphics. I wonder how they can display that in a car? http://news.com.com/Microsoft+presses+pedal+on+in-car+software/2100-1046_3-5784975.html?tag=nefd.top

  2. Ben -- I'd love to know more about edge-emitting LEDs... who manufactures them, what's the technological bottleneck, pricing, projections in terms of timing, etc...

Seems to me this is the last major technological hurdle to getting consumer hd RSD off the ground...

  3. interesting idea re: EELEDs.

the company's LED-widescreen architecture could be the end-around of the whole EELED availability issue, as regular LEDs are cheap and plentiful...

but that is for sure a good topic.
    Thanks!
