Dennis J. Reimer leaves Microvision Board

REDMOND, Wash.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 14, 2006--Microvision, Inc. (Nasdaq:MVIS - News), today announced that General Dennis J. Reimer, USA (Ret.) resigned from its Board of Directors.

"It has been a privilege to be a member of Microvision's Board, and I have full confidence in the current Company's management team and the changes that are underway," said Reimer. "The demands of my new job in Washington, D.C. as President DFI-International Government Services have made it increasingly difficult for me to devote the time necessary to the important job of representing the shareholders of Microvision. I have enjoyed my six year tenure with the Company and continue to be supportive of its mission."

"We want to thank Denny for bringing strong leadership, experience and objectivity to our Board over the past six years and for selflessly taking on additional responsibilities during the recent Board changes," said Alexander Tokman, President and CEO of Microvision. "We are glad to have his continued support of our turnaround strategy and wish him success in his new endeavors.

"As communicated earlier, we are actively pursuing new Board candidates and we are currently in discussions with a number of highly qualified people whom we believe can support our goals and mission."
