Tech Convergence Will Spur Demand for New ADAS Technology

Gilder says Buy MVIS

We concede that the Telecosm has been forward error correcting at a pace that can curl your chips and Synaptics (SYNA). Having gone on a buying spree two months ago, I know well what has happened to such favorites as Ikanos, PMC-Sierra, Intel, NetLogic (NETL) and Microvision (MVIS). We still like these companies, none of them on the list five years ago. But what have they done for you lately? They just lie there pleading, ever more persuasively, to be bought.

You should consider buying them all.

  2. well it's in his newsletter, which somebody sent me a scan of. don't have the time or inclination to transcribe the whole thing...fwiw, some guy saying something is a buy is only so helpful, imo.

  3. I for one would cut down on the Guilder quotes. George Guilder is a notorious political and scientific crank. He owes his reputation to being a bull during the late 90's bubble. Not much since. His work for the creationist Discovery Institute in Seattle is about all one needs to know.

  4. I hear you. But for the moment he's among the highest profile external advocates for MVIS, and is out there describing the kind of integrated next-generation computing devices that we are counting on MVIS to be inside of. Posting his quotes about MVIS does not equal an endorsement of any political or religious point of view.
