German Students Make Autonomous Formula Car with MVIS MOVIA Sensors

MicroVision was proud to sponsor High-Octane Motorsportse.V., a nonprofit organization and student group at FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, in this year's Formula Student.

Formula Student is an engineering competition where students design and build a single-seated formula-style car to compete against teams worldwide.

The FAU Formula Student Team uses MicroVision's MOVIA™ Lidar Sensor in their autonomous vehicle. Last week, the team unveiled their new race car for the 2023 season at High-Octane Motorsports eV's rollout. 🏎️
