Tech Convergence Will Spur Demand for New ADAS Technology

Wrapping Up the Week

Well, I'm sitting in the airport ready to head back to Seattle. It's the first chance I've had to catch my breath all week. The CES show was a big success for us (if you can believe it!). The SHOW projectors really did great. There was a lot of press, way more than I could capture to reprint here.

Our Engineering team did such an outstanding job making these tiny projectors...We have something special here at MVIS and that is thanks to the hard work and dedication of a whole lot of very talented people!!! See you back in Redmond...

  1. Hi Ben -

Congrats to you and the entire MVIS team for the SHOW and a successful CES 2008.

I was wondering if you or anyone else from the MVIS team had the chance to check out 3M's projector? Their announcement of their prototype was a surprise to me. Do you still feel good about our place in the competitive landscape? - 3M, TI, LBO, etc

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

  2. Great Job at CES and with the SHOW. From all the reports and video I have seen, it is clear you folks have done an amazing job. Microvision outperforms all the rest.

    The Vision grows stronger.

    Thank you.

  3. When will the MVIS insiders put their money where their mouths are and start buying stock in the open market?

  4. Your "Show" projector looks great!

Are you planning on designing a brighter, high definition, scanning laser projector (1080p, 500-700 lumens)

There is a huge market for this in Home Theater Projectors!

    Thanks!

  5. By company policy, MVIS employees are prevented from buying or selling MVIS shares from three weeks prior to the close of the quarter through three days after the release of that quarter's earnings.

Hence, we are unable to transact at the present time.

  6. That still leaves many days in the year when insiders could buy.

Nothing says success or failure like insider optimism or pessimism.

  7. One large, meaningful purchase by Tokman would mean more than a giant spew of PRs bound together in a book the size of War and Peace. Such an event would send the stock soaring and send the shorts to the soup kitchen lines. I'm not holding my friggin breath!

  8. Do you honestly believe that CES - during which the share price fell 25% - was a success?
